book log
i'd like to keep my storygraph account private, so here's a log of
what i've read
2026
here's to a good year of reading! i'll update this at the end of the
year.
2026 reviews
the gods themselves - issac asimov
publication: 1972
genre: science fiction
completed:1/1/26
lots of science talk and partially unsatisfying conclusion
seeing as we don’t get to see
dua and their triad’s final form’s reaction to the
solution
though i suppose i could easily enough imagine it. despite that
i really enjoyed this one, read it into the new year! makes me
hopeful that solutions can still be found despite resistance
from those in charge
2025
i read a few books this year, kinda sad but i haven't really
read anything new since 7th grade. my spark for loving
reading has been rekindled a bit (as well as my old gifted kid pride
of being a fast reader) so i hope to read more in 2025! (never
listing fanfic i read bc it's an overwhelming amount lol)
2025 reviews
do androids dream of electric sheep? - philip k. dick
publication: 1968
genre: science fiction
completed:12/29/25
i was lost till about halfway through but decent read. left me
some things to question near the end, as any good scifi does imo
the setting sun - osamu dazai
publication: 1947
genre: classic literature
completed:5/3/25
made little sense most of the way through. didn't connect with
this one but i'm thinking that's a comprehension issue so i'll
come back to it
the electric state - simon stålenhag
publication: 2017
genre: science fiction
completed:4/21/25
had to read this one twice, its one of those books that has you
piece things together yourself throughout the story.
unfortunately i'm not the type for this to click completely w/o
going back, but fortunately the book isn't that long. very
pretty art!
